DiaryBooker celebrated 4 years in business on Thursday 9th January 2014.

Held in the beautiful University of Gloucestershire Park Campus, it was a great evening of networking and learning. With over 20 in attendance, it was a great number for an intimate gathering.

After a good hour of networking and catching up with old friends, our Founder John gathered everyone around to thank a few key people for helping on the night and helping get the company to where it is now.

There was then a short demo of DiaryBooker, where John signed up a business in the room live and then went to book a customer with them in just a few minutes with no initial setup. There followed a huge number of questions and queries, all of which were answered with ease and confidence. Several people said afterwards that they were very impressed with how easy it was to get up and running with DiaryBooker, and how easy it was to use. We also heard how a new Bridalwear customer had signed up during the day and we even had a South African travel company (yes IN South Africa, trialling it that day, although they did forget to change the currency symbol so it looked like they were charging £400 for an airport transfer!!)

At the end of the evening, most people stayed around until about 9pm, then finally started wandering away, with a few muttering about how many businesses they know who this would benefit, Jude Freeman from the Amazing Balloon Company is going to be using us for valentines balloon deliveries! How cool is that?! We have also had interest from a flying school following on from the event and we are now working with www.FindAnOT.com to help Occupational Therapists….
